good name?
Dunkirk
If
you like the typical Christopher Nolan movies with the twist plot, then it's a
must to watch this one movie. Dunkirk is lifted from the true story of World
War II, where Allied troops are trapped by German troops in the Dunkirk area of
France. Reportedly, this film does not have much dialogue and more emphasis on
the cinematography. Christopher Nolan himself wrote the story of Dunkirk from 3
points of view, namely from air, land, and water. In addition to starring
British veteran actors such as Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh, and Cillian Murphy,
the film also features young actor newcomer Fionn Whitehead, Jack Lowden, and
musician Harry Styles.
Valerian
and the City of a Thousand Planets
Directed
by Luc Besson who succeeded through Léon: The Professional (1994) and Lucy
(2014), Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets offer a unique and
beautiful visual storyline. The film adaptation of the French comic tells the
adventures of two space agents named Valerian (Dane DeHaan) and Laureline (Cara
Delevingne). This film set a record as the most expensive French film of all
time, with a budget of Rp 2.9 trillion!
Cars
3
One
more movie you can enjoy with the whole family, Cars 3. Lightning McQueen (Owen
Wilson) suffered a severe accident when against his new rival, Jackson Storm
(Armie Hammer). Given his age is no longer young, his coach suggested Lightning
to retire. Lightning also approved the order on condition that if he becomes
champion in the next race, he will cancel his intention to retire.
War
for the Planet of the Apes
The reboot series Planet of the Apes returns
with its third sequel, War for the Planet of the Apes. The film still tells the
struggle of Caesar the chimpanzee (Andy Serkis) and the hordes of keranya in
the fight against humans. After losing his wife and eldest son, Caesar decides
to face the human army led by The Colonel (Woody Harrelson). This battle will
determine the destiny of both species.
Baywatch
Although
it is 2 months late since its first airing in the United States, Baywatch is
now finally present in Indonesia. The story begins with Lieutenant Mitch
Buchannon (Dwayne Johnson), who is recruiting new members for his coast guard
team. Selected Summer Quinn (Alexandra Daddario), a fat teenager named Ronnie
(Jon Bass), and former proud Olympic athlete, Matt Brody (Zac Efron). For the
role of C.J. The legendary Parker, Pamela Anderson's position this time was
replaced by Kelly Rohrbach. Not only that, Baywatch also enlivened by Priyanka
Chopra as antagonist you know.
